Can I link to the search results, so that they open up automatically when clicking the link?
Yes. Use the following URL format: http://www.mywebsite.com/#addsearch=searchquery where www.mywebsite.com is the address of your website, and searchquery is the string being searched for. This URL automatically opens up the AddSearch search results within your site. My site is built with Ajax. Can I use AddSearch? Yes. AddSearch supports the so-called “hashbang” URL format, as originally defined by Google and currently accepted as an industry standard. As long as your site’s URLs are in the hashbang format, they can be indexed by AddSearch and included in the search. This also helps getting your content featured in web search engines. Hashbang URLs have #! appended at the end of the URL. An example URL would be: http://www.mywebsite.com/#!page=products For more information on hashbang URLs and Ajax crawling, please refer to Google’s documentation.
